Birthday Haul! Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Too Faced

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I hope to get back to posting, at least weekly. I figured I should get back in the swing of things by posting about the things I got myself for my birthday this year! (Plus I rewarded myself for getting a great grade in my Summer class) So I went browsing Sephora for goodies, especially since their birthday gift was so much better than Ulta's this year. (Ulta was going to give ma a free sample of an UD 24/7 liner in a purple shade, Voodoo, I believe, and I would NEVER wear it, so I ordered from Sephora instead.)

Drugstore haul!

I know, this is yet another haul post. I went to Kmart and rounded up a few things that I've been wanting to try. I got things from Wet'n'Wild and Jordana. Wet'n'Wild was BOGO50% and I don't think they were running any sales on Jordana products. I was hearing great reviews about the Wet'n'Wild Megalast lipsticks, so I wanted to try a few. Also, I was hear great things about the Jordana shadow pencils, so I decided to grab one of them, too. I'll have swatches and shade names and pictures after the break!

Swatches of Nyx Nude Matte Shadows

I previously posted a haul from Ulta where I got mostly Nyx things aside from a mascara. So I thought I would show you swtaches of the single eyeshadows I got. I only now own three of these. All three being very light colors. I don't use dark shades all that much, and when I do want to use them, I tend to pick some of the shades from my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I would like to get my hands on more of these Nyx shadows, they seem nice and have a smooth consistency and texture to them. They swatch well and seem to blend rather easily.

ELF Haul!

Elf was having a sale for their birthday favorites at 50%. So I jumped in and ordered a ton of stuff. I'm a huge fan of Elf's products because they are very inexpensive, and the quality is great. The only thing I don't like is that they increased their shipping from $6.00 to $8.00, and it still takes a while to get here. Also, after I order from their website I always receive magazines that I never ordered. It's frustrating to have to email the companies and unsubscribe nearly every time I order from Elf. Although this may happen sometimes, it doesn't always. I love their products so I'm willing to over look it.

Ulta Haul! Nyx and L'oreal!

Nyx was having this wonderful sale over the 4th of July weekend, 40% off their entire website. Sadly, the website wasn't working correctly and I could never check out the items I wanted. However, it just so happens, that Ulta was running a sale and was having 40% off of Nyx, L'oreal and a few other brands. Since Nyx's website wasn't working, I got want I wanted (and a few other things) off of the Ulta website. That's great because it helps me rack up more ULTAmite rewards! So here's what I got.
(Fyi: I'll review, and swatch what I got in the upcoming weeks, when I have time to use them and am able to give an honest review.)

Who is branddcastle?

Well my name is Brandy. I am 21 years old. I currently attend a university in the state of Pennsylvania. I'm studying psychology, and my future plans are to become a clinical psychologist, and have a PhD, or a PsyD. 

I wanted to start this blog so
