(Fyi: I'll review, and swatch what I got in the upcoming weeks, when I have time to use them and am able to give an honest review.)
The first pair is in the style "Nostalgia" and the second is in the style "Secret"
Next I got one of Nyx's "Stay Matte But Not Flat" liquid foundation. I'm not one to wear foundation, and I normally choose not to. But, it was on sale, and it looked like a shade that would match, so I wanted to try it. I got the shade "Creamy Natural." On Nyx's website it says this shade is for porcelain skin with peachy undertones. It's the second lightest shade that they have. The lightest is Ivory and that is for percelain skin with yellow undertones. I did swatch this right away on the back of my hand, and it matches pretty well. Nearly identitcal to my skin tone. I was so relieved. I may need to get the shade Ivory and mix them to get the exact shade when my "tan" fades, but for right now it looks like it will match.
Continuing with face products I also got one of their setting sprays. I don't own any, and I've heard good things about them so I wanted to give it a go. I got the Dewy one because I favor that look more than a total Matte look. I don't have oily skin so I thought this one would work better for my skin.
Next I got another buttergloss in the shade Cherry Cheesecake. It's an orange, and I don't own any orange lip products, and I wanted to try one. I own 12 butterglosses including this new one. I was meant to recieve a purple one, in the shade Raspberry Tart, but when Ulta shipped my order they told me it was out of stock, so I couldn't get that one. I did try this one yesterday and it looks like an orange that will work with my skin tone. I mixed in another buttergloss in more of a pink shade to tone down the orange-iness to it.
Along with the lipgloss, I also got three more of their Roundcase lipsticks. I own three already, and I wanted to try some more natural/mauve shades since they are what I favor to wear. I got the shades "Lala" "B52" and "Doll." While I was at it, I also got a Slim Lip Pencil in the shade "Nude Pink."
I got more eyeshadows...only three singles, and two palettes. I don't have any good matte highlight shades that actually stand out against my natural skin tone, and Nyx has a whole range of shadows called "Nude Matte" so I searched through those and found two highlight shades and a transition shade.
I got the shades "I Have A Headache" "Lap Dance" and "Kiss The Day."
"I Have A Headache" Whitest shade of all three.
"Lap Dance" Peachy transition shade.
"Kiss The day" White/yellow highlight shade.
I got some of Nyx's "Love In" palettes as well. I got a Love In Florence, and a Love In Paris.
Love In Florence palette in the shade "Ciao Bella"
Two mattes (black and gray) The other shades have shimmer/sparkle
Love In Paris palette in the shade "Madeleines and Macaroons"
Six of these shades are matte, the other three are shimmer.
I also got two of the Crystal Glitter eyeliners. A dark gray in the shade "Crystal Gunmetal", and a soft gold in the shade "Crystal Silk."
Lastly, I got suckered into buying the L'oreal Miss Manga mascara. I'm a fan of Manga to begin with, so having a mascara that "claims" to make your eyelashes look like a characters totally caught my eye. And let's be honest here, their packaging is A+. Who wouldn't want to buy it?
