Drugstore haul!

I know, this is yet another haul post. I went to Kmart and rounded up a few things that I've been wanting to try. I got things from Wet'n'Wild and Jordana. Wet'n'Wild was BOGO50% and I don't think they were running any sales on Jordana products. I was hearing great reviews about the Wet'n'Wild Megalast lipsticks, so I wanted to try a few. Also, I was hear great things about the Jordana shadow pencils, so I decided to grab one of them, too. I'll have swatches and shade names and pictures after the break!

I picked up this trio from Wet'n'Wild. All of the shades are matte, and yes, that is a true orange shadow.

All of the shades have that standard smooth buttery feel that we've all come to expect from these shadows. The pigmentation isn't lacking either. As you can see from these swatch comparisons between primer and no primer. In the primer photo, of course you'll see more pigmentation impact, but even without a primer they still pack a punch.

Next were the two lip products I got from Wet'n'Wild. I got two lipsticks, on in the shade, "Ravin' Raisin" and "Mauve Outta Here." I'm a little disappointed in the shade "Mauve Outta Here" because I expected it to be a dark dusky color, but it comes off as a bright pink. "Ravin' Raisin" on the other hand, is freaking awesome. The color is a deep purple shade, it's going to be beautiful for the upcoming Fall season. (Since picking up these products, I went and bought two more Wet'n'Wild lipsticks in the shades, "Bare It all" and "Sugar Plum Fairy")
Right: "Mauve Outta Here"
Left: "Ravin' Raisin"
Left Swatch: "Ravin' Raisin"
Right Swatch: "Mauve Outta Here"

Next I got a NYC Ultra Moist Lipwear Lipstick. It was only a dollar so I decided to go for it. I got the darkest shade they had which was "Mahogany" and oh my word. Was that a good investment. It was only a dollar, and the color is insane! It's beautiful, and it's shiny. I need to work on applying it to my lips though, because when applied straight from the tube it can look a little crazy.

Next I got a couple things from Jordana. I got a liquid eyeliner, and a jumbo shadow pencil. It's in the shade "Continuous Almond" and I like this shadow pencil. It helps conceal the veins on my eyelid area. It's little hard for me to blend out though. I don't know it sets that quick or what, but I just have to find a way to make it look smooth. It's nice to use on the waterline, too.

The last thing I got was one of they new Color Envy liquid eyeliners. It's in the shade "Black Envy" and I know it comes in a range of colors. I haven't gotten to use this much yet, just because I have others I need to finish up. But from what I've heard it works pretty good. It's a good pigmented black liner. The brush is small and it's almost like a liquid gel consistency.

**As always the primer used was Urban Decay's Primer Potion

Wishing you the best of mental and beauty health,
